Maintenance Engineer

Description
Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various printing and packaging machinery to
ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks on assigned machines as per the manufacturer's recommendations and
company schedules.
2. Identify and diagnose machine malfunctions through visual inspection, listening for unusual sounds, and utilizing
diagnostic tools.
3. Perform basic repairs and adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance.
4. Escalate complex repairs or malfunctions to the designated maintenance technician or vendor.
5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work performed, parts replaced, and machine down
time.
6. Ensure a clean and safe work environment around the machinery.
7. Report any safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
8. Assist with machine setup and changeovers during production runs
9. Keep up-to-date knowledge of machine operation manuals and safety procedures.
10. Participate in relevant training programs to enhance technical skills.2
