Job Title Logistics coordinator Department Operations   Detailed Work Profile   ï‚· receiving bookings and organizing required transport/equipment for multimodal shipments ï‚· accurate preparation and completion of export/import cargo documentation ï‚· liaising directly via email and telephone with shippers, consignees, shipping lines, hauliers, customs agents, forwarders, and SSL oversees offices/operations staff ï‚· provide accurate and consistent reports to customers (tracking, issues, delivery schedules etc) ï‚· data entry into the in-house transport and accounts systems ï‚· raising sales invoices   Personal Attributes ï‚· Language ability: Urdu/Hindi + English (Arabic is a plus) ï‚· Strong communication skills both verbal and written ï‚· Attention to detail is a necessity ï‚· To be highly customer orientated with the ability to build strong, working relations ï‚· Good level of numeracy ï‚· Quick learner and resilient ï‚· High level computer literacy particularly with MS Office ï‚· Can-do attitude with ability to work under pressure ï‚· Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a small team ï‚· Organized and able to prioritize ï‚· Proactive outlook with the ability to meet strict deadlines ï‚· Analytical and logical
