Service Engineer

• Monitoring and oversee service and repair of equipment under AMC and to ensure timely follow up for AMC renewal.
• Attend the call regarding preventive maintenance and breakdown.
• Technical support service after sales to customer.
• Demonstration and installation of devices/equipments.
• Use of electrical and optical tests equipment.
• Industries related to this profile: Semi conductors/Laser/ Fibre optics/Telecom/PCB Manufacturing/CNC Service Engineer/ Healthcare equipment.
• Being the face of IPG Photonics, it is extremely essential to be disciplined & courteous in terms of response, communication & documentation, key being the quality and speed
• Educate customer about the various features of IPG products in line with service team guidelines
• Act and behave in line with the guiding principles of IPG Photonics
• Responsible for /control/clearance and forwarding of products and proper recording of the usage
• Be pro-active in networking within the areas and zones to learn from each other and replicate best practices.
• builds solid customer relationships while managing a complex scope of support issues of customers by acting as an onsite technical resource
• Responsible for providing service training to customers to desired approved levels

• Person having working knowledge of our or competitor Lasers.
• Should have some experience in supervisory level.
• Person should be open to travel to customer locations to discuss and provide support to customer and provide feedback to service head quarter.
• Should be aware of the importance of Maintenance of machines.
• Having experience of handling customer calls and maintaining records for the repair done/ service provided.
• Clear Vision without spectacles.

• 3-5 years of Experience in Optoelectronics, semiconductors, automations, electronic services along with highly skilled fresh graduates done relevant projects with respect to preferred areas as mentioned above.
• Knowledge on engineering operations and production will be preferred.
