Position Title: Womenswear DesignerReports to: Mr. MukherjeeLocation: KolkataDepartment: Design TeamQualification, Experience & Competency:Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in DesignMinimum Relevant Experience: 3 years as a designer from pattern companies like Gauri and Nainika, Gaurav Gupta, Bodice, Dhruv KapoorMinimum Total Work Experience: 2-3 yearsSkills:Research and develop a range of collections based on the brief given; study and interpret the sketches; create toiles/prototypes.Make adjustments after fittings.Work in accordance with the technical instructions, the chosen materials, and the deadlines.Communicate clearly with seamstresses on assembly and finishes.Control the quality of each design before and after fitting.
