Senior Accountant- Coimbatore

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Coimbatore

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

2. Month-end Close: Lead the month-end closing process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management.

4. Tax Compliance: Work closely with the tax department to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.

5. Internal Controls: Maintain and enhance internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

6. Audit Support: Coordinate and support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance function.

8. Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development and growth.

Requirements:

1. Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.

3. Proficiency in Tally accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

6. Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Preference:

• Someone from Keralite ready to relocate to Coimbatore or Keralite born and brought up in Coimbatore.
