Plant Operations Manager

Job Title: Technical DirectorIndustry: Manufacturing (Plastic Film and Recycling)Company Overview: Our company specializes in the conversion of polyethylene resin into film, printing on in-house converted film as well as externally purchased BOPP and PVC film, bag making of internally convertedand externally purchased film, and recycling and washing of in-house industrial waste as well as externallypurchased industrial and post-consumer waste.Position Level: SeniorReports to: C-level ManagementTeam Size: 300+ employeesJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Director to join our manufacturingteam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing the quality and efficiency of existing machinery,managing raw material consumption, and ensuring proper costing for each process within our facility. This rolerequires strong leadership skills and technical expertise in blown film extrusion.Key Responsibilities:1. Optimize machinery efficiency and raw material consumption2. Develop and implement systems to track and monitor raw material supply to machinery3. Manage 2-3 layers of downstream management, operators, and workers4. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual structured reports on KPIs, innovation, andprogress5. Collaborate with top-level management on budgeting and financial matters6. Lead initiatives to improve overall operational efficiency7. Participate in product development and research to increase efficiency, profit, and sales8. Oversee hiring and team development as necessary9. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices in the manufacturing industry10. Calculate and analyze consumption and wastage metrics

Required Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree preferred)2. Extensive experience in plastic extrusion or recycling3. Strong management and leadership skills4. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (Tally preferred)5. In-depth knowledge of blown film extrusion processes6. Familiarity with manufacturing industry regulations and compliance requirements7. Ability to withstand high operating temperatures and climb multiple flights of stairs on large machineryPreferred Qualifications:1. Certifications related to plastic extrusion or recycling2.
