Commis Chef (Continental/Italian)

The duties of a commis chef include:

• Supporting the Pizza chef in the cloud kitchen.
• Performing cooking, cleaning, delivery, and other support duties.
• Informing the supervisor of malfunctioning or broken kitchen equipment.
• Unpacking and organizing deliveries.
• Mopping up kitchen spills to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Ensuring proper food storage to prevent spoilage.

The Commis Chef’s responsibilities include preparing ingredients, assisting with menu preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about food, eager to learn, and able to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele.

• Prepare ingredients for the meal service, including washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping.
• Follow the guidance of the senior chef in preparing dishes.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces and parboiling food.
• Prepare simple dishes such as salads and entrees.
• Assist with inventory management and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Help with the cleaning and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling knives and kitchen equipment safely.
