About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior AVL Technician with extensive experience in audio, visual, and lighting systems. This is a senior-level position designed for a professional with at least 10 years of experience, who has demonstrated leadership abilities and built a reputation for exceptional communication and client service. The individual will closely collaborate with senior leadership and will play a pivotal role in managing AVL projects and teams to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Strategy:

   • Act as the senior technical authority for all AVL-related projects.
   • Represent the company in client meetings, negotiations, and technical briefings.
   • Lead teams in planning, execution, and troubleshooting to ensure flawless project delivery.

2. Client Engagement:

   • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
   • Communicate complex technical information clearly and professionally.

3. Project Management:

   • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, from initial planning to final implementation.
   • Ensure adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
   • Read and interpret BOQs to create detailed installation plans and manpower schedules.

4. Technical Expertise:

   • Utilize in-depth knowledge of AVL systems (lighting, rigging, sound) to design and execute innovative solutions.
   • Optimize equipment usage and ensure the highest standards of technical delivery.
   • Stay updated on the latest AVL technologies and incorporate them into projects.

5. Team Building and Mentorship:

   • Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of discipline and excellence.
   • Inspire team members through professionalism, work ethic, and technical expertise.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in AVL, with a proven track record of managing complex, high-profile projects.
• Exceptional understanding of lighting, rigging, and sound systems.
• Outstanding communication and client service skills, with the ability to manage high-stakes interactions.
• Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams.
• Expertise in reading BOQs and developing comprehensive project plans.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
