Job Title: Linux Administrator Manager (Remote)

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Linux Administrator Manager for a full-time remote position. The ideal candidate will lead a team of Linux system administrators, oversee daily operations, manage patching processes, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the optimal performance and security of our Linux-based systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Linux administrators.
• Ensure the efficient daily operations of Linux systems and maintain high system performance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Oversee and implement patch management processes for Linux systems.
• Collaborate with other teams to maintain and optimize infrastructure.
• Ensure system security and integrity through regular updates and proactive monitoring.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in web hosting environments or similar industries.
• Strong expertise in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms.
• Proficient in the following technologies:
  • Open vSwitch (OVS)
  • Network configuration, MTR/Traceroute interpretation
  • BGP, NAT, and VLAN configuration
  • Ansible configuration and automation
  • KVM virtualization
  • Docker and container orchestration
  • Firewall tools and security policies
  • Load balancing and high availability setup
  • RAID configuration and storage management
  • DHCP server configuration and management

Qualifications:

• Expertise in Linux system administration and problem-solving.
• Experience with patch management and technical support.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, LPIC) are preferred but not mandatory.
