Packaging Development Specialist- For FMCG

Engagement: Full time / Part time engagement of 9 to 12 months
Travel: 2-4 days in a month (domestic in UK)
Experience: Minimum work experience of 5-7 yearsin Packaging development (preferably from FMCG
organization)
Eligibility: Work permit in UK is a Must (eligible to work for the company based out of India)

Job Description :
• This role will work on strategic initiatives created by the Client (FMCG organization) to deliver
in the area of Innovation & Savings.
• This role demands close collaboration with the cross-functional team of the Client (FMCG
organization in UK), various supply partners in UK and interface with Packfora team based out
of India.
• Visit Client (FMCG organization) sites, their warehouses / packaging suppliers sites in UK for
design, development, inspection of transit trials. Expected to interpret results, prepare
reports and communicate results/recommendations to the multifunctional project team to
deliver the packaging activities.
• Will be needed to support critical design & deploy projects of the global packaging program
for key brands. Delivering superior innovations, value (cost) improvement programs will be
the key challenges.
• The candidate must have previous packaging design and project management experience of
global / regional projects and working knowledge of different FMCG packaging material
conversion processes.
• Preferred experience in FMCG packaging. Should have good knowledge and experience in
Flexibles, rigids, metal and paper /paper board packaging and it’s prototyping. Expected to do
competitor benchmarking, design & development, specifications, understanding on material
consumption, productivity improvement etc

Skills:
• The candidate should have working knowledge of key packaging technology areas,
development processes, functional specification management with good knowledge of the
manufacturing processes
• Understanding of interaction of packs, Shelf life / Stability testing and extended supply chain
elements.
• Bias for action and high sense of accountability and responsibility is must.
• Focus on Growth mindset and consumer centricity is also required.
• Ability to work with diverse people/functions across geographies.
• Good communications skills. Must effectively communicate on technical issues with other
technical personnel as well as manage business communication with senior stakeholders
• Excellent influencing ability
