JOB DESCRIPTION OF ELECTRICAL DEPT.
Sr. No Job Description
1. Evaluation of electrical system, equipment, components & applications as per designing.
2. Develops strategic electrical plans by studying operational plans, studying existing conditions,
determining needs to accomplish operational plans.
3. Licensing work to obtain initial & running electrical supply with legal compliance from
MSEDCL.
4. Installation & Commissioning of electrical equipment for plant erection work.
5.
Develop & test electrical devices, equipment like Circuit Breaker, Transformer, DG sets, UPS,
Power control centre, Machine control centre, Feeders, DOL & Star delta starter, VFDs,
Electrical cables, Trays, Push buttons, Earthing system, Lighting system, Power distribution
system etc.
6. Maintain safe & clean working environment by procedure, rules & regulation.
7. Preparation of cGMP documents for new equipment.
8. Analysis of electricity unit consumption & MSEDCL bill.
9. Implementation of Routine & Major preventive maintenance in electrical system.
10. To create equipment number & maintain equipment history card.
11. To prepared standard operating procedure for electrical equipment.
12. Stock & non stock inventory management.

Contribute to completion of projects, manage own time to meet agreed targets, develop plans for
short-term work activities on own projects. Provide engineering support to develop scope of work,
project execution plans, and associated engineering studies for equipment and component
installation, modification etc.
14. Manage technical writing and document review.
15. Provide necessary operational support as needed.
16. Review Preventive and corrective work order activities, and provide equipment maintenance
history review.
17 Participate in equipment/system-based Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations and
update equipment reliability plans.
18. Partner with Production and Quality Team Leads on troubleshooting and scheduling.
